Hello and welcome to TRINE 009!
The news of Virgil Abloh’s untimely passing yesterday has left me with a feeling of sadness as I step into the last month of 2021.
A rule breaker, groundbreaker, artist and visionary. What has come to light from those that that interacted with him (more so than the undeniable legacy of his work) was the generosity of his spirit and the belief that every step he took was so that generations of people of colour and the consistently marginalised could take strides.
The beautiful personal tributes that have been pouring out are much like those that followed the similar passing of Chadwick Boseman. Whose body of work and activism in the film industry inspired millions across the globe, but is most appreciated for his generous spirit and the time he took to help uplift others.
Whether either of these brilliant men has touched or influenced you, what is clear is that the legacy we ultimately leave behind is so much more than our bodies of work.
With this in mind as we move into 2022 I implore you to take the time to cherish, nurture and appreciate the people that bring light into your life.
Sending you love, light and abundance,
Shasti

~Plan~
Tune in to the movements of the universe and use them to support your decision making and forward planning. There is no bad astrology, nor can it be used to predict the future. Astrology is best used as a tool to help you navigate the different areas of your life.
December’s Key Astrological Transits
Wednesday 1st December ~ Neptune goes direct (Pisces at 20 degrees)
Neptune the planet of imagination, dreams and spirituality rules Pisces and after half a year in retrograde it has now turned direct. Remember planets that turn direct take a little while to return to their full power, but be assured that a direct Neptune will bring inspiration and imagination to your professional work producing results that you will feel proud of.
Friday 3rd December ~ New Moon Solar Eclipse (Sagittarius at 12 degrees)
Solar eclipses magnify our New Moon intentions presenting us with a new expansive horizon of opportunity that may not yet be in our sight line. The final in the series of eclipses in Sagittarius will bring closure to events that occurred worldwide and bring focus to whatever part of your natal chart is ruled by the archer. A New Moon in Sagittarius encourages us to take care of ourselves by taking action, learn from others and broaden our horizons in pursuit of the truth. It finds comfort in travel, new ideas and leaps of faith. Allow yourself to be led by your intuition, inspirations and insights as your path is being cleared to make room for your personal growth.
Monday 6th December ~ Mars sextile Pluto (Scorpio - Capricorn at 25 degrees)
This transit between an ambitious and driven Mars and Pluto will present you with unlimited energy and drive. It is a great day to work towards a goal as you will make impressive progress.
Saturday 11th December ~ Mercury sextile Jupiter (Sagittarius - Aquarius 27 degrees)
Mercury sextile Jupiter coats your words with the sparkle they need to impress the influential VIPs in your sphere. Travel is favoured and your charisma, energy and enthusiasm will support you in accomplishing your goals. However, be mindful of signing on the dotted line. Today’s square between the Sun and Neptune imply that vital information is still unclear.
Monday 13th December ~ Mars enters Sagittarius and Mercury enters Capricorn
Mars in Sagittarius is a courageous adventurer and will inject us with the burst of energy we need to end the year on a high. A seeker and a wanderer, Mars in Sagittarius encourages you to identify opportunities from previously untapped resources. You may now feel the need to have multiple projects on the go and your increased stamina allows the ability to move on any opportunity you feel will be lucrative to your learning and development.
Mercury in Capricorn is pragmatic and strategic. Nothing is communicated purely for the sake of it and the sea goat will use everything at its disposal to get its message across. A sign that understands the concept of long term gratification, Mercury in Capricorn also understands the art of restriction and has a tendency to not share everything until a message can have its maximum impact. Be mindful as Mercury in Capricorn can sometimes come across as rigid, overly skeptical and harsh. As the sea goat is generally a solo creature that takes great pleasure in scaling great heights communication strategies highlighting success stories that beat the odds tend to do well during this transit.
Saturday 18th December ~ Full Moon (Gemini at 27 degrees)
Full moons ask us to focus on the the person, place or thing that is right in front of us and bring with them a culmination of sorts. A Full Moon in Gemini near the year’s end asks us to communicate, process and exchange the facts and ideas that we have been gathering throughout 2021. We are asked to tap into both our intuition and logic to explore all the options the universe is providing. A canny shape shifter, a Full Moon in Gemini also requires us to consider the face we are presenting in our day to day lives ensuring that we do not lose touch with our core. A need for change and diversity within the part of your chart that is ruled by Gemini is heightened right now. Jupiter will closely support this Full Moon making the lunation a joyous one that brings a happy culmination to events.
Monday 20th December ~ Mercury trine Uranus Rx (Capricorn - Taurus at 11 degrees)
This transit will likely bring an unexpected but welcome climax to talks and negotiations. It may also produce opportunities to travel if COVID restrictions permit.
Tuesday 21st December ~ Sun enters Capricorn
Capricorn season asks us to find ways to practically use our resources. This earth sign is focused purely on what will help it reach the top of the summit so asks us to shed anything that does not help. Setting clear boundaries allows us to clear our path for whatever new opportunities that 2022 may bring. Ruled by Saturn, the slowest planet in our solar system one thing Capricorn’s appreciate is the gift of time. It takes many seasons before it is time to harvest the bounty we are due, as such it is important to conserve our energy. Captivated by the thought of scaling great heights this cardinal sign is intrigued by shattering glass ceilings and records but will find inspiration in those that cleared the path for their journey. Although Capricorn season asks us to keep our eyes on the prize it is important remember to open up to life’s opportunities so that you actually enjoy the fruits of your labour.
Thursday 23rd December ~ Saturn square Uranus Rx (Aquarius - Taurus at 11 degrees)
This is the third time this aspect as occurred in 2021 (the first two being on 17th February and 14th June) which suggests that you may experience a reoccurrence or follow on from events that took place earlier in the year. These planets will now part and will not square again until 2043. The last occurrence of this aspect is well placed as it asks us to decide what to preserve, discard and innovate for the future. It is time to clear the path for a fresh start in 2022.
Sunday 26th December ~ Mercury sextile Neptune (Capricorn - Pisces at 21 degrees)
You will feel a flash of inspiration and creativity in your practice and will feel the urge to experiment. Moved by the goodwill of the season you may investigate ways your work could help any charitable causes that you hold near to your heart.
Tuesday 28th December ~ Jupiter enters Pisces
Jupiter will begin its final transit of 2021 in Pisces, one of its home signs (the other being Sagittarius). This is the first time that a forward moving Jupiter has been in Pisces since 2011. The natural fluidity of Pisces will see Jupiter break down barriers and create multitudes of abundance in whatever house Pisces occupies in your natal chart. Helpful and magnificent in its bounty, Jupiter is the yes of the solar system that asks us not to worry as it will all work out. When in Pisces, Jupiter creates abundance around our emotional connections and encourages us to lean into what we find meaningful, illuminating and inspiring during this transit.
~Rest~
Nurture the needs of your mind, body and soul so that your personal wellness is placed at the centre of your actions.
As we are coming to the end of both 2021 and the season of South Node eclipses in Sagittarius this felt like the perfect moment to re-issue our guided meditation to support you in the process of letting go.
