Welcome to TRINE Issue 011!
Congratulations! You’ve almost made it through the 3698 days of January and are hopefully bringing the intentions you set at the beginning of 2022 into the month of February.
Tuesday 1st February sees us enter a New Lunar Year, the year of the Water Tiger. While 2020’s year of the Rat had us focusing on survival and 2021’s year of the Ox was about adjusting to a new reality, you’ll be relieved to know that 2022 will be the year when things change for the better. The year of the Tiger will see themes of big changes, risk taking and adventure flow through our lives. Enabling us to find the enthusiasm and joy that we have been sorely missing over the last two years.
Water Tigers are very family orientated and are gifted at building and nourishing personal relationships. They are also very driven and enjoy forging their own path in the world, ensuring that they set strong personal boundaries between their work and private life. In short this will be a year for moving towards your dreams, embracing freedom, nurturing bonds and creating magic.
Sending you love, light and abundance,
Shasti
Curator, Activist and Changemaker.

~Plan ~
Tune in to the movements of the universe and use them to support your decision making and forward planning. There is no bad astrology, nor can it be used to predict the future. Astrology is best used as a tool to help you navigate the different areas of your life.
February’s Key Astrological Transits
Tuesday 1st February ~ New Moon (Aquarius at 12 degrees)
This New Moon in Aquarius requires us to give ourselves space to review our start to 2022. Allowing us to manifest the solutions and innovations we need to put in place for the remainder of the year. Learning, communicating and understanding is key with this moon as it is only by zeroing in on the root of the problem that we can innovate and disrupt in a way that finds solutions. When the moon is in Aquarius there is a tendency to overlook your personal feelings to achieve a system that works for everyone. Remember that your emotional intelligence and lived experience is worth just as much as cold hard intellect.
Thursday 3rd February ~ Mercury stations direct (Capricorn at 24 degrees)
Although Mercury retrograde officially ends today much like when you wake up with a killer hangover, it takes a while for the planet to feel like its usual self again. This shadow period of any retrograde (two weeks pre-retrograde and two weeks post) is when the planet is at its most mischievous so don’t rush to launch, sign or purchase anything significant during this time. Mercury will return to full strength on Thursday 17th February.
Friday 4th February ~ Mars sextile Jupiter (Capricorn and Pisces at 8 degrees)
An exalted Mars in Capricorn sextile with a Piscean Jupiter is a magical piece of astrology. The waters of Jupiter’s abundance feeds the sea goat’s ability to initiate disciplined action that accomplishes great feats. Any actions taken on this day will lead to growth and profits. However, as Mercury only turned direct yesterday it is best to wait a few days to formalise any project or partnership.
Tuesday 8th February ~ Mars trine Uranus (Capricorn and Taurus at 11 degrees)
Intuition and practicality will merge, leading to an exciting and unexpected breakthrough in whatever house of your birth chart is ruled by Capricorn and Taurus. Some surprise news may come your way that you would do well to take advantage of.
Friday 11th February ~ Mercury conjunct Pluto (Capricorn at 27 degrees)
The conjunction of Pluto, planet of hidden resources and the underworld, with Mercury will bring a truth to light regarding someone’s past actions or decisions.
Monday 14th February ~ Mercury enters Aquarius
Mercury in Aquarius is logical and through. We will now have the insight to articulate well developed ideas with confidence. As Aquarius is a sign that revels in innovating systems and surveying the big picture, communication strategies that focus on benefiting humanity at large will do well.
Wednesday 16th February ~ Full Moon (Leo at 28 degrees)
Full moons ask us to focus on the the person, place or thing that is right in front of us and brings with them a culmination of sorts. Leo’s natural generosity makes this lunation a beautiful one that will bring some much needed positivity within the five days preceding or following it. When the Moon is it Leo it requires us to seek our own approval and not only rely on the approval of others. As the Moon rules the body we are asked to give attention, applause and appreciate for role it plays in allowing us to express ourselves creatively. The additional influence of Jupiter and Uranus will ensure good news flows to you.
Thursday 17th February ~ Jupiter sextile Uranus (Pisces and Taurus at 11 degrees)
This uplifting aspect will not happen again until 2026. The breakthrough you have been hoping for will likely occur at some point during the months to follow. This is a gift from the universe asking you to keep optimistic, you are on the right path and soon it will be your time to shine.
Friday 18th February ~ Sun enters Pisces
Pisces season brings with it a desire to move in every direction, gathering influences from as many sources as possible. Natural healers, artists and poets Piscean’s effortlessly leave an impression on all that they encounter. Dreamy, kind and compassionate Pisces season brings with it a need for rest and deep reflection to balance everything it puts out into the world. During Pisces season we will benefit from learning more about our personal boundaries and understanding that healing others is not our responsibility.
Thursday 24th February ~ Mercury square Uranus (Aquarius and Taurus at 11 degrees)
The volatile energy Uranus brings to Mercury makes this an unfavourable day to sign a contract. Any travel would also be best delayed by a day or two.
