Welcome to issue 002 of TRINE!
While researching and putting the newsletter together for issue 002 I began thinking about what TRINE stands for. As a concept, TRINE was born on Sunday 24th January 2021 making the project an Aquarius (yes businesses and creative practices have natal charts too!) it embodies the qualities of this air sign by being innovative, intelligent and progressive.
This means that as a practice we believe:
Artists, designers and creatives should always be paid for their labour.
Creative opportunities and funding should be accessible to everyone.
BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, individuals with disabilities and other marginalised groups should tell their own stories and not have their experiences appropriated or exoticised by others.
One medium of creativity does not deserve more respect than another.
Introducing wellness and astrology to your practice should be an option to everyone.
As well as the monthly newsletter you can also find TRINE on instagram where we post open call opportunities that we come across after the newsletter is published, more details on how to use astrology to enhance your business and tips for business success.
In this month’s newsletter:
Build connects you with £71K worth of funding opportunities and £146K worth of project fees.
Plan details some of the best astrological transits to reach out to potential collaborators.
Rest, TRINE’s guided meditation series invites you to reconsider your concept of value, specifically how you value yourself.
Take what works for you and leave what doesn’t. If you find success with any of the opportunities featured or find any of TRINE’s tools useful do reach out and let us know.
Sending you love, light and abundance.
